Conservatee

Definition

A Conservatee is person with a court-appointed conservator due to their inability to manage their own affairs. Conservatees maintain the right to challenge their conservator’s actions and petition the court to replace the conservator.

Terminology involving conservatorship and guardianship vary by jurisdiction. As a result, a conservatee may be called a ward in your area.
